WEEPING AT THE FOOT OF THE MOUNTAIN

He believed he was gifted with potential to change the world. He set out on his
mission with all the he need to change an industry that was hard as the Trenton rock. The harder he drills the more futile his mission seems to him. The more efforts he puts in the more setbacks came his way.

He was at a standstill, could neither go forward nor turn back. The whole world sit watch ready to laugh at him. They did not encourage him but where keen to discourage. Advice they decline to give. Yet at heart he was a good person and
thought he didn’t deserve that treatment but the world around him care less.

There was no guild to save guard his interest. And no supporting group either to speak on his behalf. He was opened for exploitation on all fronts. And indeed he was exploited.

His prayers could not redeem him. He couldn’t curse the people or the system not even the politician, because it was not guaranteed to take away his misery.

He looked on helpless and hopeless. With his working material in his bag he walked silently to the foot of the
mountain where he sat weeping.

He knew he had to continue walking, drilling, searching, seeking and praying. Yielding to failure was a decision he couldn’t reach even if he wanted to.

Repeatedly he assures himself of victory,
dried his eye and promised no matter what happens he will not return to the foot of the mountain to weep but instead to take inspiration.

Dedicated to all those who have a dreams to accomplish.

Excerpts from next Article; CREATIVITY DROUGHT HIT GHANA FILMS

The actors seem to be pulling up their weight but the industry isn’t supportive enough. Majid for instance seem to have been after an action packed story to act but no such script is available.
The industry is bogged down to love and romantic films, pastors and witches. So we appear as a bunch of jokers making movies. And arrogantly call ourselves filmmakers.
