What does HOBBIT: Desolation of Smaug (2014) has in common with Kumawood Films?

I was quite trilled on seeing the trailer to Hobbit; the desolation of Smaug. What caught my attention was the quote “On a mission to re-claim a home land and slay a dragon” It was among the movies I bookmarked to see at any cost. I finally got the opportunity to see it.  What does it share in common with Kumawood? I will tell you.

The Elf and the dwarfs provide us with enough action, with Orcs pouring in their numbers to be slaughtered. Gandalf was caught and caged up on a tower after a show of powers fight.

Bilbo actually did burst into dragon dungeon to steal the Arkenstone .and end up waking the dragon. Bilbo’s ability to play tricks on the dragon for the Arkenstone failed causing the dragon to ask him “Do you think flattery will keep you alive?”

The dragon left the mountains, setting out to destroy the townships. It was not slain and the homeland was not claimed as promoted in the trailer. So Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug (2014) ended like a typical Kumawood film, keeping you in suspense for the final part of the trilogy. In Kumawood it would have been shouted, Hobbit: part 5 & 6. We wait for the final part, which will be out around Christmas.
