Single, Married and Complicated (2014) Premiered What Went Amiss Stars and Red Carpet

The highly anticipated Single, Married and Complicated an YN Productions was premiered 5^th September at the silver bird cinema. To catch the red carpet treat and glitz of the stars GFI opted to Accra Mall for the premier. 

The premiering came on as planned and scheduled, ticket fans got the chance to watch the film. However certain incidences cannot be swept under the carpet. 

The red carpet was desecrated before most of the stars could arrive, it had sparkling lights around it; most were broken by the audience. The number of fans wanting to take selfies didn’t help much blocking the main stream photo journalists. And regrettable some people were not there to watch the film just to catch the glimpse of the stars.

The huge poster from where stars will have their photos taken fell, when it went down the second time, the guys helping to fix it just gave up. There were many things they try to fix and when they do, is either push down, disorganized or broken again. 

The turnout was more than the place could handle; at the red carpet and inside the cinema hall. Yours truly had my special invite alright but the cinema was full with no seat I couldn’t last beyond 15 minutes inside. With the little I watch the film was freezing from time to time, although there were many occasion of cheering from the audience. 

The arrival of the stars wasn’t synchronized, it was random and spasmodic. A few of the stars did lose their temper from provocation from some folk in the audience. Lydia Forson nearly ripped a guy apart, she had to be tamed- you couldn’t fault her. She was pushed to take a stand. James Gardiner having hard time getting in, resort to the fans to take selfies with them.

When the first session of the premiering was over, Yvonne Nelson stepped out to take pictures and grant a brief interview. That was when the crowd went wild. The screams and the shout, all wanted to touch her and all wanted to take selfie with her. The crowd was overwhelming, so difficult to control so difficult to contain. 

It was a hard day for the security guys. Remarkably, Yvonne maintained her calm and composure and if you are able to make it up to her, she wouldn’t deny you of your selfie. Some of the personalities who pass through include virgin Delay, Reggie Rock Stone, D-Black, Pascal Amanfo, Abdul Salam, Adjetey Annan, Elikem and among others.

The well intention of the premier planners cannot be overlooked but it was also observed that the place was small and the spectators were too much. GFI would be sharing behind the scene pics with you. I guess it my time to sign out, you take care out there- peace, am out.
