Abena (Bibi Bright) couldn’t forgive the mother (Kalsum Sinare) for causing her father’s death. Abena’s youngest sister Afia played by Jasmine Boroadi also suffered the brunt of Abena’s bitterness towards their mother. One action of Abena stood out; she was supportive of her family.

The mother (Kalsum Sinare) went into coma and needed an amount beyond Abena’s means to revive her. Abena forced her religiously committed young sister- Afia to adopt her promiscuous life style to raise the needed cash.

Afia fortunately met Manny (John Dumelo) who got her the cash; got her pregnant and agreed on marry her. Unfortunately for Afia, Abena convinced her to abort which lead to her sudden death.

The mother loved Afia so much and couldn’t forgive Abena for her wrong advice. Under this tit for tat condition-you killed my father I killed your daughter-Abena was lead to Christ after being lost in her glory.

Abena was under a domestic violence relationship with David, in the end David walks away free only losing Abena to Christ.  The movie would have emphasis more had David been punished for his violations.

Manny and David were drug barons; they had a feud which I will say contributes nothing to the movie because it was not developed to a dramatic end.

Abena is supposed to have died met the father who admonished her to come back. Such scene is far-fetch and unmerited for movie of this calibre.

Acting, background music and settings if not good, credit will be a good mark: C-yah on the next review.
